The policies that govern how LAZARIDIS ENGINEERING LP operates on the environment, business conduct and protection from violence and harassment at work.
This policy sets out the commitments of LAZARIDIS SYMVOULOI MICHANIKOI L.P. (the “Company”) to protecting the environment during the execution, operation and maintenance of the works it undertakes.
The policy applies to all activities, sites and premises of the Company and is binding on its staff, subcontractors and partners.
The Company undertakes to comply with applicable environmental legislation and the environmental terms of each contract, to prevent pollution, to manage excavation, construction and demolition waste through licensed operators, to promote recycling and to limit its use of energy and natural resources.
The Company sets measurable environmental objectives, monitors their achievement and pursues continual improvement of its Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001.
The policy is reviewed annually by Management, communicated to staff and made available to all interested parties.
This Code sets out the principles of integrity and lawfulness that govern the Company’s activities, in particular its dealings with contracting authorities and public bodies.
The Code is binding on Management, staff, subcontractors, suppliers and any person acting on behalf of the Company.
Offering, promising, giving, requesting or accepting, directly or indirectly, money, gifts or any undue advantage to or from public officials or third parties in order to influence decisions or obtain an unfair advantage is expressly prohibited.
The Company takes part in public procurement procedures with transparency and equal treatment, in accordance with Greek Law 4412/2016. Any potential conflict of interest is reported to Management without delay.
Any breach or suspected breach is reported to Management, which ensures confidentiality and protects the reporting person from retaliation. A breach of the Code leads to disciplinary and contractual consequences, without prejudice to criminal liability.
The Company has zero tolerance for any form of violence and harassment at work, including gender-based and sexual harassment, in accordance with Greek Law 4808/2021 and ILO Convention 190.
The policy protects every worker regardless of employment type, as well as trainees, job applicants and third parties, and applies in the offices, on sites, during work-related travel and in work-related communication.
The Company informs staff about this policy, takes preventive measures and assesses the related risks as part of occupational health and safety.
Any incident may be reported to Company Management. Complaints are examined promptly, impartially and confidentially, and any retaliation against the complainant or witnesses is prohibited. The right to apply to the Labour Inspectorate and the Greek Ombudsman remains in all cases.
Established violent or harassing conduct leads to the applicable measures, up to termination of the employment or cooperation agreement, without prejudice to the legal rights of the person affected.
